Our school is located in Gdynia - on the Baltic Sea and, together with Gdańsk and Sopot, forms a well-known Tri-City agglomeration. For over 90 years, it has been conducting educational activities focused on vocational training.
In the 2020/21 school year, 470 students aged 14-20 are educated in the following professions: economist technician (8 classes), accounting technician (3 classes), graphic arts and digital printing technician (5 classes), advertising technician (5 classes). There are 61 teachers employed.
The school has classes where students have some vocational subjects taught in English and classes with extended German.
The school is attended by students from Gdynia and neighboring towns who want to pass the matriculation examination, which will enable them to take up higher education in the future and gain a profession and professional experience in a chosen field.
Entrepreneurship - the guiding slogan of our projects is closely related to the profile of our school. Since 2008, our school has been implementing several EU projects of various types focused on this subject. This increases the motivation of our students to take action and mobility, and develops their language skills. Their activity and willingness to learn increase, which makes it easier for them to achieve life and professional successes.
So far, thanks to participation in EU projects, we have achieved over 300 mobility among students and teachers.
We cooperate with universities and institutions dealing with shaping entrepreneurial attitudes in the region. We take part in trainings, economic knowledge competitions and meetings with representatives of the labor market.
Every year, students and teachers go to partner meetings abroad and organize them at home.
Thanks to EU projects, we organized internships during the summer holidays in Spain, Northern Ireland and Turkey. We visited schools, companies and institutions supporting the development of entrepreneurship as well as local authorities in Spain, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Greece, Portugal, Slovenia, France, Norway and Great Britain.
We are glad that we will once again be able to cooperate with EU partners as part of the Erasmus + project "Entrepreneurial teenager on an ecological career path".
